Holiday Fun

The holidays this year were the best I can remember in some time. They were also some of the busiest days I can remember as well. This time at least it was with family. Being a stay at home dad has its benefits during the holiday season for sure. It started before thanksgiving going hunting and spending time with my Aunt and Uncle from Colorado where normally I only have had a brief 1 to 2 day stay with. Then during the Christmas Holidays we had family at our house and then went to spend New Years with my wife's family. New Years was a great Celebration as collectively we purchased around $800 in fireworks and put on one heck of a great show ourselves. During these past couple months my baby son has gotten bigger and heavier and is now really getting in to eating food. He's not much for crawling yet as I think he realizes its much easier to just get Dad to pick him up. One of the most helpful things hes learned is to hold his own bottle. This is a real time saver for me as it gives me at least 5 minutes to get something done myself during this time.
