While the chain and guide are genuine Oregon the unit is otherwise a Sthil clone. Only had it a couple of days . Starts easily, cuts powerfully, free of vibration so no problems. for the price its a hell of a tool

Having scoured the net for a chainsaw this one seemed the best deal, and it is. I can only re-iterate Phil's review, however the instructions for starting the saw are not clear. To avoid frustration make sure the choke is PUSHED IN, not pulled out as the manual suggests; APPLY THE CHAIN BRAKE, (not mentioned.) Then pull the starter.

This superb chainsaw will cut down trees with ease. Easy setup runs smooth with out over revving. Have found a site that provides new chains blade and guides at a good price.
If you need to cut down a lot of wood. This model is the one.

superb machine for half the price of a well known brand easy to set up. And will cut down trees like knife through butter.
Powerful for heavy duty or cutting small logs.
The price says it all.
