I have just recieved this mower and mowed the lawn straight out of the box. I put the blades on lowest cut and had to lower the actual blade further by fitting the blade on top of the two exsisting washers ,just need to fit another thinner washer to achieve the desired cut. I am amazed by the power of this mower ,the battery is good. Highly delighted with this mower. Do not adjust the blades with the washers unless your confident and safe doing so.

I bought this about the middle of last year (2008). The battery lasts very well - I've got a small lawn at the front and a fair sized one at the back and I can do both of these on one charge, with little apparent depletion of the battery. (battery charge is indicated by several lights, 3 greens for the level of charge and red for depleted, and even after use, I've never seen it yet without the full number of lights on. It picks up really well too, leaves, odd twigs, etc are all taken up and put into the reasonably sized grass collector. When I've finished mowing I just plug it in in the shed, and leave it for a couple of hours. Job done, and a lot quicker than it used to be! I wouldn't go back to a corded or petrol one now, and if this one dies on me, I'll get another one of the same make!.

took delivery on the Monday only ordered it on Friday was well impressed from the outset the assembly instructions were simple and easy to follow. I used it right away as it came with some charge in it and found it to be a superb piece of kit far superior to the two cordless Flymos I've had in the past. it cuts right up to the edges is light and manouverable and is unbelievably quiet no louder than a hair dryer truly and the charge indicator is really useful knowing its not going to go flat on you halfway through the job . the only downside i could say about it is the cutting height is adjusted by undoing the wheels and moving them but i guess ill just leave it on middle setting for the time being apart from that i was well impressed but i have only used it once time will tell on its robustness but i am optimistic
