Welcome to the most popular model in the Trueshopping garden range. With its 2-stroke 52cc engine it makes light work of even the toughest of tasks. The strimmer is not only extremely versatile, but very easy to operate and maintain and puts a lot of its more expensive rivals to shame with its incredible ability for such a low price. 52cc machines can be found elsewhere online for this price! With its twin line and 3 toothed cutting blade, the Trueshopping 52cc Petrol Strimmer is ideal for professional clean-up jobs, including clearing out tough weeds and bushes over a large surface area. In addition, the Trueshopping Petrol Brushcutter has a very high power to weight ratio and easily starts in all weathers. It also boasts maximum efficiency, high torque and rapid acceleration. The machine features an ergonomic harness, which spreads the load, improving comfort and efficiency for the user, and a bike-style handlebar that is angled relative to the single strimmer shaft, to prevent an uneven load being placed on the user's back. Please see our add-ons for this strimmer as you may want to add some useful attachments to your order.

52cc strimmer by pa clampett
the strimmer easy to assemble and started on second pull it out performed my ryobi 4srtoke strimmer that gave up the ghost and was about£150 more than this one.i took the strimmer to my allotment and it cut all that was in its way i found it to be heavier than my ryobi but that was no problem i am very pleased with this strimmer and for the price i had a very good deal.

A Cut Above The Rest by Rainman
Bought this item to replace old petrol strimmer which has had it's day. Easy to assemble and get ready for to use. Filled with petrol and oil mix using supplied mixing measure, pressed primer bulb 3 times and it started on first pull. Made short work of long grass. absolute bargain and would be very happy to recommend this product to anyone.

A lot of strimmer for a very low price by Mymatepete
Very easy and simple to assemble. Engine in one package, shaft and assembled controller in another. What a powerful machine for the price! It really is a heavy duty machine, I have only used it on a small job so far but no sooner had I started the job and it was finished! So gave my neighbours a little trim too. So far I am well impressed with the performance.

A lot of strimmer for little money by Badger
wasn't sure when I saw this product for the money whether it would be worth buying, so glad I did excellent machine, have a large garden and this strimmer cut through long grass and overgrowth easily, only downside is my wife found it difficult to pull the cord to start the machine, or maybe it was a ploy so she doesn't have to do the gardening!!!!!

Alan Moran by Alan
Bought this strimmer nearly 2 years ago from Trueshopping. Fantastic machine, cuts through the heaviest of brush with ease. this 52cc engine will easily cope without the need to run on full throttle. a great purchase.

An outstanding performer. by jaycee.
This machine is extremely powerful and probably too big for a medium or smaller garden. Very suitable for clearing dense grass as found on the edge of fields etc. You need a strong arm to pull the starting cord but it does start promptly. One good feature is that you don't get covered in green debris as the guard is very well designed.
Overall a well made unit with no obvious weaknesses. The manual is a little vague on some matters but not beyond the wit of man to unravel.
If you need a man sized machine, this is the one for you.

BC520 Strimmer - good good good by Kenny - Isle Of Lewis
Ive used all kinds of high end industrial strimmers. This is an excellent strimmer for the price and is up there with the more expensive industrial ones.

Brush cutter by Manic Gardener
All good so far. I did have to ask someone to assemble it for me, only for the fact that I wanted to get on and use it, I'm sure I could have put it together myself. Motor starts easily and it is fairly lightweight to use. Excellent price.

Brute of a tool. Not quite a Stihl, but not exactly a Ryobi by Steve Miller
First impressions out of the box is that the materials used are of high quality with maybe the plastic used on the switches which seem a little cheap. One previous reviewer suggested it would be better with a split shaft, it seems that he was listened to as this unit now comes with a slit shaft. In addition it appears that since previous reviews the strimmer comes mostly assembled and it only took me ten minutes to fit together. The manual is very comprehensive, easy to follow and printed on high quality paper instead of a leaflet that you will lose straight away!
I liked that, it shows that if they put the effort into such a small thing then the product itself should receive the same attention to detail. Once assembled I tested it. Took a while to get it going but it was brand new so this SHOULD get better. Left it in the shed for a few weeks before I had the time or the weather to do my garden which by this point was over 3 foot tall and laced with brambles! Again it took a while to get it going but I may have flooded it. Eventually I sussed out that it takes a few pulls with the choke on, then a couple with the choke off and it fires straight up.
However I did have a small problem. Whilst starting it I noticed that the chord guide has come off and was whizzing up and down the chord. This not only damaged the chord itself but also damaged the plastic housing. I contacted Trueshopping and told them the issue. They asked for a picture of the problem and once received, they dispatched a replacement pull chord unit and it took less that 5 mins to replace. As for the use of the strimmer, it made real short work of the garden! Its a brutal strimmer! Very powerful and very little slows it down. It just charges through the long stuff and the brambles without the need to do it in layers! The 'bullhorn' handles make it easy to keep the head level and easy to avoid digging into the soil. I would say though that due to the size of the engine (52cc) it does vibrate alot! Definitely wear gloves and avoid using it for long periods. Its also loud (as you would expect) so ear protection is a must. I would give this unit 5 stars but it's new and I really would like to reserve my judgement until I see how reliable the engine is as time goes on. As per title, this is not a Stihl but it is a very good rival especially at the price which is very cheap! £120 and can't really complain! I would take this over a Ryobi any day! I would never buy a Ryobi ever again! Good strimmer, I highly recommend it..

Cant get any better than this! by Stefan
I have gone through a few strimmers now from various companies. and this one is by far the best! Never fails to start within a couple of pulls on a cold start. The pull cord doesnt make your fingers ache like some strimmers. Very Powerful. very stable build, honestly you couldn't get a better strimmer for the price.

far too powerful for a 74 year old pensioner. I could not even start the machine, it almost ripped my arm from the socket. after two days of trying to start the strimmer I returned it to trueshopping. hopefully they will exchange it for a BC1E36F ?

Cuts through the C@#P just as it says by anonymous
Wanted to buy a Stihl but the wife said too too much so she read the reviews and came up with the alternative. Easy to put together and fires up to the first pull. Watch out Stihl the competitor is out there and at least half the price!

My old strimmer which was lower power was so much better. It did the job better than this one. I shall have to take it to be repaired.

Received it this week and assembled it. Instructions a little vague as to the correct positioning of the safety guard (6 bolt holes therefore two positions). I wasn't initially keen on some of the plastic construction, I thought it a little flimsy in terms of the throttle & choke control but everything seems to plastic these days. It had its test debut today at my allotment and I can't say I'm unimpressed. It blasted the tough weeds, Dock and Dandelions away in probably 1/2 to 2/3 of the time it took me with my ten year old barely surviving McCulloch ( to be fair has been a workhorse albeit a bit temperamental - it has been worked to death over the last 4 years). Anyway, first impressions I am very pleased with it, just take the time to correctly assemble and adjust the Bullhorns and shoulder strap to your height etc. It would be a benefit if you could rotate the throttle grip around the handle as this would greatly increase comfort. I tried by unscrewing the lower pinch clamp and a top bolt but had no effect. I think the top bolt must follow a pre-drilled hole in the aluminium handle. You could spend a lot more for a lesser machine!

Efficient, no-nonsense strimmer by jth
Easily assembled. I have used this strimmer a handful of times over the past few days and find it effective and much easier to manoeuvre than my old alpina 'backpack engine' version. I have not used the brushcutter blade yet, but so far would recommend

excellent brush cutter. by anonymous
this is the brushcutter you need!dont buy the rubbish from the diy stores.all parts are available at trueshopping, should you ever need any.
i had a large over grown back garden to cut down,i must admit the stones didnt do the blade cutter any good, but its the same on all cutters.still a quick sharpen and it will be ok for some while.i intend to order a spare or two for future use.
this brushcutter will last you for years,a very good buy.
top marks to trueshopping!
