26cc petrol strimmer by Tristan
Great petrol strimmer works as it should used a few times and haven't had any trouble starts first time the handles feel a bit cheap and the shaft seems to get really hot but there are moving parts so I can't see if being a problem overall good value for money.

Now used a couple of times since receiving the strimmer, for the price could not fault it, starts first time, easy to use and does all I need it to at home and the allotment.

Excellent machine for the price by carpetgoon
I live in a static caravan on a farm on the south downs in Sussex. Therefore normal garden equipment is no match for the grass, weeds etc I need to deal with. I have now used the brush cutter in anger and it came up trumps making light work of jobs that have taken me forever in previous years. For the price this machine is brilliant and the build quality excellent. The engine starts easily after just a couple of pulls. As with other reviewers it takes about an hour to build and if I have to be negative sometimes the instruction booklet was a little difficult to follow especially as it references picture numbers that don't exist. Having said that I am very happy with the machine. It even includes a mixing bottle so I don't have to guess the 25-1 two stroke oil mix. If you haven't guessed already I'm one happy chap and I can recommend you to buy this product with confidence :) . Oh and I've already picked out the chainsaw I will be buying from this site.

Excellent value for money!! by anonymous
This machine has replaced a more expensive product but at the moment is proving to be equally good. Just watch your knuckles when starting with the choke on as it is very close. Overall excellent value for money!!

Great Product at a fantastic price by Hortus Garden Services
As a previous reviewer mentioned it takes a while to build - about an hour without help, possibly quicker if there are two of you. However once built it appeared to be robust and well made - the real test was to come with its first use! Once fuelled and primed it took only three or four pulls to start which impressed me. Once started however it throttled up and down fine and coped with some seriously long couch grass (about 4ft high!) no problems, the line feed worked a treat and it was comfortable to wear. A point to note about wearing it -before actually using it anger try it on and adjust the handles to suit you - I found the factory 'setting' to be too far away from me so I was stretching to reach - easily solved though by moving them nearer to the engine.
The only things I would say are not so good are:
1. The strap - my buckle broke the first time I put it over my head meaning I had to tie a knot in the strap
2. There is quite a bit of vibration which, due to the not so good finish on the handle mouldings (what do you expect for £90??) caused some chafing even with gloves - worth spending some time sanding the roughness off.
3. The location of the choke in relation to the pull cord - I skinned my knuckles on starting it so use gloves!
Also just for peace of mind I would recommend using loctite or other thread locker on the four bolts that hold the engine to the shaft as, as mentioned there is quite a bit of vibration and the last thing you need would be the engine to come loose!!
I haven't used the cutting disc yet, but expect it to be just as good as the line strimmer, although i think I will sharpen the blades before I do as they seem to be supplied a bit on the blunt side.
All said though, I wanted a single straight shaft strimmer and this is truly an excellent machine, well worth the £90 (although search for discount vouchers before buying ;) ). I would very highly recommend this to anyone considering a brushcutter/strimmer, on a budget. If you want the finish or the looks then save up and buy a Stihl or Husqvarna - these it is not, but still very capable!!

Great quality product for the price by James
Very easy to put together. Brush Cutter started first time and already used twice and no problems whatsoever even on slightly tougher terrain. Early days but looks like an excellent purchase and would recommend.

John Siggery by john boy
Excellent delivery service, very poor instruction lacking better information booklet, too longer pole, very poor & difficult strimmer head to refil & operate. Would not recommend .
The strimmer cord disappeared inside the spool when I was operating it , I had no idea how to get the head off to rethread the cord or reassemble it. I was at my alottment so I had to walk home after ten minutes operating it. I had purchased I second spool lucky enough and a neighbough took it apart to see how it was assembled . Is there any other easier maintainable spool that will fit this strimmer.
